Who should I contact concerning any service issues?

Will there be any interruption or change to my service?

NO. This is a Like for Like service which ensures nothing changes. The transfer will happen on a blink of an eye without any interruption and you won't even know.

What happens when I sign up to switch to Met-Talk Telecom?

We will request a transfer of your service with your existing SP via Openreach. We will also send you a welcome pack containing a copy of your contract and informing you about the transfer of your services. It takes minimum of 10 days to complete the transfer.

Who should I contact if there is a fault on my line?

You should contact Met-Talk our 24/7 fault line for any fault on your line.

Who will repair the fault?

Our phone line remains a part of the BT Openreach engineers who will repair the fault.

How long will it take to repair a fault?

Depending on care level your line is on the fault would be dealt with. Standard commitment time is 72 working hours for standard lines. Meanwhile your fault is repaired we suggest you request for divert of all your incoming calls to an alternate number.

Does Met-Talk offer any additional maintenance packages?

Does Met-Talk install new lines?

Can I take my existing phone number with me when I move premises?

If you are travelling within the area covered by your existing telephone exchange, you should be able to take your existing number. Contact Us for further information.

What do I do if I am moving premises?

Please contact us a month prior to your move to advise us of details of your movement and we shall arrange transfer of your lines to new property. Visit our website or feel free to call us for more information.

What is a Broadband Service?

Broadband refers to a connection, which transmits large amount of data at a very high speed. Broadband-Internet connections allow surfing or downloading much faster than a dial-up.

Can Met-Talk transfer my line as I am a residential customer?

Yes at Met Talk we provide services to both Private and Business users.

Does Met-Talk charge connection fee?

How are calls billed?

All calls are billed in pence per minute.

If I make a payment how soon my payment is acknowledged by Met-Talk Telecom?

Payment can take up to 5 working days to reach us. Debit and Credit Card payments are also accepted. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page to know more.
